Dina began her journey as a street musician, and we’re proud to see The Dina Preston Band grow into a globally recognized act. Our story shows how local talent can achieve international acclaim. Starting with local corporate events, we’ve expanded into global tours across Europe, Africa, Latin America & Asia. Our dedication and effort have transformed our modest beginnings into a worldwide adventure. Through dedication and relentless effort, our modest beginnings have turned into a worldwide adventure. Notably, our single, “Give My Broken Heart A Break,” recently broke into the Top 100 Apple Country Music Charts, marking a significant milestone in our ever-evolving journey.
Strategic Partnerships
Our success is largely due to strategic partnerships with influential organizations such as Armed Forces Entertainment, the U.S. State Department, and Fortune 500 companies. These alliances have been crucial in broadening our reach and impact, highlighting the importance of networking and seizing opportunities.
Tailoring Music for Diverse Audiences
We’ve learned the value of adapting our music to connect with different audiences. For example, during our performance in Tunisia, we featured the track “When the World Calls Your Name” from our album We’ve Been Everywhere on Renaissance Records. This adaptation of local influences allowed us to forge deeper connections with our Tunisian audiences fostered by technology support and celebrate cultural diversity.

We are dedicated to delivering impactful performances that truly resonate with our audiences. Our commitment to creating memorable experiences has helped us build a loyal fan base. We engage with our audiences and adjust our performances as needed to ensure meaningful connections.
Embracing Change
Our journey illustrates that embracing change can lead to success. We’ve navigated various economic, legal, cultural, and technological shifts, turning each into an opportunity for growth. Initially, our album release faced setbacks due to inadequate marketing support from our digital distribution partner. However, this experience taught us valuable lessons about streaming platforms, which we applied when switching to Verse One, enhancing our digital presence and audience reach.
II. Rising Through Innovation
Recovering from Setbacks
Challenges, including those brought by the global pandemic, have been part of our journey. These obstacles led us to create our book, 31 Cent to 43 Countries: Hardcore Tip for Increasing Profits– accompanied by a CD that was pivotal in securing our management and contract with Renaissance Records. Turning setbacks into growth opportunities has been key to our success.
Innovative Adaptation
To stay relevant in the evolving music industry, we embrace all kinds of digital platforms and keep learning. We used technology to enhance communication, enable virtual collaboration, and boost our digital promotion and streaming efforts, strengthening our global presence.
III. Resilience in Action
Overcoming Adversity
We’ve encountered significant challenges, such as an accidental flight into the front lines of Afghanistan during Desert Storm 2 where we had to figure out logistics with limited resources in an active war zone. Our ability to overcome these difficulties underscores the importance of breaking down challenges into manageable parts through grassroots efforts, determination, and resourcefulness.
Evolving with Industry
The rise of digital streaming introduced new challenges, but we adapted by collaborating with playlist curators and digital marketers to increase visibility. Our proactive approach to industry changes has helped us maintain and expand our fan base.

Maintaining a positive attitude has been crucial to our perseverance. Throughout this journey, maintaining a positive attitude aligns with the principles of resilience, hope, and thankfulness, even for the challenges.
